To those without a compassionate heart, disregard the hardship of all living creatures, don't know how to conserve the environment and treasure lives, 4 years is only a flash for them. To the Tibetans, this natural disaster had brought them an unforgettable agony! The monks have been trying their best to extend the little passionate heart from the individual to everyone's heart, hoping to spread the Buddhist teachings to people in different parts of the world.
In the past 4 years, as the government offered help to the damaged Monastery and the protection from the worshippers, the reconstruction had been processing gradually. The road of reconstruction is long and tough and our venerable Lodroe Nyima Rinpoche has been relentlessly travelling to promote Buddhism, to publish books to raise money. However, there is still shortage of funds. The crafting of three Buddha Statues in the Main Hall (The Past , the Present and the Future Statues) are costly including casting, cover with gold foil and decorate the Buddha with gems. We wish everyone initiates your Bodhi heart to offer help and donate to the reconstruction of the Monastery.
Located in the snowy plateau, the Thrangu Monastery is still covered with a blanket of snow even now is April.

The crafting of Buddha statue is very complicated: the artisan first write a draft with the help of a computer to create a plaster mold output. Under continuous improvement process to ensure a component can be generated from the plaster mold, the workers will solder different parts into one. ( As the Buddha Statues are often quite high, they will usually use scaffolding to operate) After cleaning and polishing the rough area, the workers will decorate and cover the Buddha with gold foil. As all this requires a lot of manual and professional work, the cost of each Statue is very high!
For those benevolent persons who donate to help reconstruct the Qinghai Thrangu Monastery, the new book "The Bodhi inside the Debris" written by Lodroe Nyima Rinpoche will be given as a complement. We sincerely thank for your immeasurable merits.
