Yesterday was the Chinese Lunar New Year day of 2015. The Chinese New Year day is also the birthday of our venerable Lodroe Nyima Rinpoche. The lamas in the Monastery respectfully organized a grand Longevity Puja.

        During the Puja, lamas read scriptures to pray for world peace, prosperity, favorable weather, bumper harvest, safe livestock, elimination of all epidemics and removal of evil obstacles. At the same time, we wish the families of the worshippers in good health, auspicious and wishful.

      Under the blue sky, the flamboyant five color prayer flags looked like the graceful girls dancing in the festival. The local villagers and worshippers wore festive costumes early in the morning. They followed lama to the Monastery and cheerfully came in front of the mini scripture hall to join our venerable Lodroe Nyima Rinpoche’s longevity puja.

 

        When the New Year puja organized by the Hong Kong Thrangu center come to an end, lamas lead the worshippers to offer Khatag with clean body, speech and mind. We wish the longevity of Rinpoche, the holy wheel is always spinning for the benefit of sentient beings and to accomplish the career of Buddhism!

        We also organized a blessing party to celebrate the birthday of Rinpoche. In the party, there was no empty seat in the Thrangu Center. The worshippers invited a team of auspicious lion dance to perform. The vivid and lovely lions danced inside the hall. We wish Rinpoche good health, long life! The Buddhist friends are smiling cheerfully!

        During the Rinpoche’s longevity puja, there was no empty seat in the Thrangu Center. They all filled with joy.

       In the fourth day of lunar New Year, Rinpoche, Lamas and worshippers from Hong Kong went to release marine creatures. Both worshippers from Shenzhen and Zhuhai also went out for living creature release and read scriptures for dedication. We pray the world peace, favorable weather, harmony and prosperity. We wish Rinpoche a happy birthday, healthy, longevity, continue spinning of holy wheel and extensive assistance of all sentient being. We wish everyone good health, cheerful and filled with happiness!

On the 4th day, Rinpoche and a group of lamas and the good faith of Hongkong were released to sea.
