A level 8.1 earthquake took place in Nepal at 14:11 on 25 April, 2015. The earthquake originated about 20 kilometers deep. There have been 134 aftershocks and there are almost 10 thousand victims in the tragedy.

When our venerable Lodroe Nyima Rinpoche heard this bad news, his feeling was as hard as the victims. He then immediately organized a puja to pray for the casualties of the disaster. He also worried about the safety of our venerable Thrangu Rinpoche. When he got the visa, Rinpoche soon travelled to Nepal to offer help and contribution.

On 13 May, Rinpoche came back to China safely. Karmapa Chenno!

The Buddha teaches us, there are always uncertainties even with thousands of methods in the world. Only when we have wisdom we can reach the shore of Bodhi sooner.

Let us pray for the casualties of the earthquake. We wish the survivors can free themselves from fear and cheer themselves up to rebuild their homes.
