Every morning before dawn, we walked to the Sutra Hall to read scriptures.

During the Puja, whether the weather was sunny, cloudy or cold snowy, lamas insist to read scriptures in a 24 hour basis. They walked to and fro the sutra hall to offer hot tea and rice to Rinpoche. We are glad and appreciate every lama working hard for the Puja!

No matter how bad the weather was, the sincerity of the villager of scripture listening was enormous

The Tibetans have strong feeling towards the Monastery such that parents often send their beloved sons to become monks. Almost every family has monk in Tibet. How wonderful! This Nun brought her mum with limited mobility to the Sutra Hall for scripture listening.

        Early morning on the 30th, lama performed Smoke Offering. In the afternoon, Rinpoche offered inspiration and empowerment.

After lunch, Rinpoche offered oral transmission as well as empowerment

        Then, the guard of honor welcomed Rinpoche to perform Buddhist memorial outdoor and offered empowerment to the villagers.

In front of the sutra hall, a considerable number of villagers waited under the burning sun for the empowerment ceremony.

The masses felt joyful to accept the empowerment

        At the end, all lamas and nuns were dedicated: they wished all merits from the puja remained on the pure land. They wished the light of Buddha shine on the Three Realms. They wished all masters good health and longevity. They dedicated the merits for world peace, favorable weather, amity and prosperity. They dedicated the merits to the unlimited sentient beings and wished them to avoid suffering and to gain happiness. They wished everything mentioned above can be done and the Bodhi can be achieved early!
